Welcome to Salem Sound Coastwatch’s 15th annual Run for the Beach 5K! Every summer, community members gather at Dane St. Beach in Beverly for a fun, family-friendly race to raise money for Salem Sound Coastwatch.

Get a chance to see and feel real life marine animals up close in our saltwater touch tank.
Delilah the Whale
Meet “Delilah”
Take a tour inside a whale! Explore Delilah, a life-sized, anatomically correct, inflatable North Atlantic right whale from Whale and Dolphin Conservation. Delilah comes with an air-lock that allows entrance for visitors of all abilities.

Check out our photo booth and take a selfie, group shot, or photo just to celebrate our event!
Early Bird Registration – May 31st Deadline
Register early and claim your limited edition Run for the Beach 5K T-shirt. Participate as individual runners, run teams, runners with strollers, or walkers.
Please note that T-shirts will only be available to those who register online by May 31st.
On-site registration starts at 8:00am the day of the event, card or check only.

Fun Volunteer Opportunities
Looking to get involved with your community and Salem Sound Coastwatch? Volunteers are a huge part of making this event a success every year. As a volunteer, you can get involved in race setup, registration, water and food distribution, cheering along the race route, and cleanup.
